What happened after
Phone case company; the Marcus Lemonis deal fell through on-air ('to be continued' cliffhanger) after he found the CEO ran the business poorly; two former Casery employees later started a rival phone-case company that Lemonis backed instead. The thecasery.com domain now redirects to an Afternic 'domain for sale' parked page.
What happened on the show
The Casery was a Los Angeles startup making fashion forward phone cases, and beneath its strong sales and striking designs the cracks were showing. The young CEO did as he pleased, leaving his partners demoralized and the company unable to grow, and Marcus's warning was blunt, that without learning to respect his people and his business the CEO would shatter it. The deal itself never closed on air. Marcus concluded the CEO ran the business poorly and left the episode on a cliffhanger, a to be continued that resolved badly for The Casery. In a telling coda, two former Casery employees went on to start a rival phone case company, and it was that venture Marcus chose to back instead. The product had buzz and beautiful design, but the person at the top was the reason the investment went elsewhere.
After the cameras left
The Casery went dark. No investment ever closed, and the original business itself faded, with the thecasery.com domain now redirecting to a parked, for sale page. Its Los Angeles headquarters shows up only in old directory listings. Because no deal was ever completed, the closed status here reflects the original featured business going quiet rather than a post investment collapse.
