Fuelfood

West Palm Beach, Florida

UNVERIFIED

Current status unconfirmed after an independent check. The last confirmed sighting we found dates to 2015.

What happened after

Official domain fuelfood.com now redirects to a domain-broker for-sale listing (verified direct fetch), a red flag but not definitive proof of business closure; no independent news of closure found.

What happened on the show

Fuelfood, owned by Erik, delivered prepared meals aimed at helping clients lose weight, and many of its staff were former customers who believed in it. The product had a real market, but customer retention was low. Marcus offered $300,000 for a controlling 51 percent, which Erik accepted, though Marcus held off completing the transaction until the other investors signed off in writing. That caveat proved wise. He found the kitchen under equipped, the marketing aimed at the wrong audience, and Erik's management abusive, berating employees even after an open feedback session. Then it got worse. Staff were leaving over pay cuts because Erik had never secured the other shareholders' agreement and so had never received the investment money. When Marcus searched for the missing partner, he was stunned to find the man had been arrested over a Ponzi scheme, with the shares tied up in receivership. Spooked by the fraud and worn down by Erik's aggressive denials, Marcus walked out.

After the cameras left

We could not confirm Fuelfood's status either way. Its official domain now redirects to a broker page offering the name for sale, which we verified directly, a red flag but not proof on its own that the business is gone, and we found no independent news of a closure. A prior operating address placed it on Columbia Circle in West Palm Beach. Given the lapsed domain and the absence of any current channel, but no hard closure evidence, we ship this as unverifiable and recommend a recheck for an alternate site or social account.
