What happened on the show
Skinny Latina was the sauce and marinade business of Ana Quincoces, a Miami celebrity with, as the episode put it, personality to spare, whose brand had nonetheless failed to take off. Her poor branding and an overly defensive attitude made her a handful for Marcus, and she faced a specific hurdle, she had to prove her mettle before the show would invest at all. It was a familiar Profit setup, a founder with charisma and a real product held back by weak positioning and a resistance to being coached. Marcus's work centered on fixing the branding, getting Ana past her defensiveness, and building the distribution and discipline a packaged food brand needs to break through. The personality and the product were assets, which made the branding and the founder's willingness to change the variables that would decide whether the business finally caught on.
After the cameras left
Skinny Latina is selling well. The marinade and sauce brand, from founder Ana Quincoces, sells directly through its own site and through major retail and grocery channels, with a current copyright footer, a working cart, and product listings, some marked sold out in the normal course of an active shop. Named products appear at large retailers per current listings. The branding trouble the episode diagnosed appears to have been overcome. Confirmed operating as of 2026, high confidence.
