Star Coaches (tour/party bus company, the more prominent of the two named businesses) is confirmed active; no separate current signal found for a standalone 'Star Café'.
What happened on the show
Danny Hamilton Sr. and his son ran a combined Atlanta cafe and tour-bus company and were losing food while fuel costs climbed on the buses. For the sting, mystery diner Jamie posed as the son of Charles Stiles' investigator Robin, booking a party bus, while another mystery diner worked the cafe. As aired, a booking agent, a driver and a line cook had been running a side business behind the owners, stealing food and liquor, booking unauthorized trips and piling miles on the buses, one driver going off-schedule to pick up the decoy party. The confrontation has the owners firing the driver and agent. Because Mystery Diners was later accused of scripting its confrontations, this bus-and-cafe sting is best read as broadcast rather than as documented event.
After the cameras left
The business is still running, at least on the coaches side. Star Coaches, the tour and party-bus company that is the more prominent half of the pairing, remains active at 2051 Marietta Boulevard Northwest, with Facebook activity into 2024 in our 2026 pass, at medium confidence, no separate current signal for a standalone cafe. A going transport operation that appeared on a crisis show simply kept driving, its survival the ordinary kind rather than a rescue. The side-business drama made an episode; the company itself carried on.
