What happened on the show
Uche Nwaneri, a former NFL guard, was losing food and liquor at his Atlanta bar and tattoo studio. Charles Stiles' investigator Robin found the manager keeping the bar open after hours, and mystery diners Meagen and Justin went in as a bartender and a customer. As aired, that manager and a food-truck cook ran an unauthorized scheme they called The Anchor Club, charging triple for anchor hand tattoos that then bought customers unlimited free food and drink, skimming the difference, while other staff bartered tattoos for alcohol. The confrontation has Uche firing the manager and flagging the cook to the truck's owner. Given the scripting claims that later dogged Mystery Diners, this tattoo-club sting is best framed as broadcast rather than as verified.
After the cameras left
Anchor Bar and Tattoo Studio has since closed. A MapQuest listing explicitly marks the Atlanta bar at 1878 Piedmont Road Northeast closed, no date surfacing, at medium confidence in our 2026 pass. A combined bar and tattoo concept winding down is ordinary lifecycle, not the residue of a tattoo-club sting. The show filmed one night of a promotion gone rogue; the bar's closing came later and cannot be dated precisely from the record.
