Shore Fyre Grill

Honolulu, Hawaii

UNVERIFIED

Its status today is unclear. The last confirmed sighting we found dates to 2014.

What happened after

No web presence found under this name across 4 search engines and multiple query variants; likely a small/short-lived concept with no lasting digital footprint.

What happened on the show

Allen Farinas suspected his Honolulu beachside grill and the surf shop next door were being run like a shared social club, with sales going missing. Charles Stiles investigated both, sending a single mystery diner, Jordan, in as a cashier. As aired, a cashier trades food for the surf shop's gear rentals and slips off to surf mid-shift, while another turns up late and intoxicated, leaving a surf-shop cashier to cover a register he cannot work. The confrontation has Allen firing the surfing cashier and the hungover one. Stiles advises him to talk with the surf shop's owner. Given the scripting claims that later dogged Mystery Diners, this two-business beach sting is best framed as broadcast rather than as verified fact.

After the cameras left

After the episode, Shore Fyre Grill leaves almost no trace. Repeated searches across multiple engines turned up no web presence under the name in our 2026 pass, suggesting a small or short-lived concept that never built a lasting footprint, so we hold it at last confirmed rather than guess. Mystery Diners filmed a beachside sting and moved on; it left no rescue to follow. A Honolulu grill with no findable record is exactly the kind of subject the directory cannot honestly score.
