Jeff Levitt and Dave Martin ran a dog-friendly bistro in San Diego and found their chicken and beef supply coming up short. Charles Stiles sent mystery diners Corinne and Seth in as a waitress and a customer, joined by his own dog Otto, billed as the show's first canine mystery diner. As aired, the head chef has been stealing the meat and swapping in dog food as revenge for the owners feeding the dogs people food, while a manager, busy with a dog-sitting sideline, misses the theft and hands out free pupsicles. The confrontation has the owners firing the chef and the manager.
