What happened after
StreetFoodFinder page (streetfoodfinder.com/FoodJunkieTruck) was described by search as showing an 'upcoming schedule' implying active status, but direct fetch 403'd and no dated confirmation was obtained.
What happened on the show
The same San Diego sting that pitted two food trucks against each other put Brett Doogan's Food Junkies Catering under Charles Stiles' cameras too. As aired, Doogan's own crew had fed the feud, one employee driving customers off the rival trucks with a megaphone and staging pranks, another badly rattled by the escalation. When it spilled into a lot-wide water-gun fight and a locked-truck stunt, the owners had seen enough. The confrontation has Brett firing the ringleader and giving the shaken second employee another chance, Stiles closing with the two owners calling off their rivalry. Because Mystery Diners was later accused of staging these reveals, this half of the dueling-trucks sting is best read as broadcast rather than as independently confirmed, a made-for-camera showdown as much as a caught one.
After the cameras left
After the episode, Food Junkies Catering is hard to confirm. A street-food directory suggested an active schedule, but the page blocked a direct read and no dated confirmation surfaced in our 2026 pass, so we hold it at last confirmed rather than assert a status. Catering trucks leave thin trails years later, and Mystery Diners left no rescue to follow. The honest answer is that we cannot call it open or closed, only note where the record last stood.
