What happened on the show
Rival San Diego food-truck owners Marko Pavlinovic and Brett Doogan brought their shared revenue problem to Charles Stiles, who ran a sting across the whole lot with mystery diners undercover at competing trucks and windows. As aired, a friendly competition had curdled into a feud, and on Marko's Mangia Mangia Mobile two employees are the culprits, trading insults with the rival crew, one snatching a megaphone, the other poaching customers with free samples, planting a fish under the truck, and eventually locking rival staff in their own truck before a water-gun brawl breaks out. The confrontation has one quit on recognizing Stiles and Marko fire the other. Given the scripting claims that later dogged Mystery Diners, this dueling-trucks sting is best framed as broadcast rather than as documented event.
