What happened on the show
Jimmy Nigg watched food and alcohol sales fall at his Arvada bar, especially during its summer vintage car show, with fewer cars turning up too. Charles Stiles sent mystery diners Amber and Kyle in as a waitress and a customer. As aired, a manager is running a get-rich-quick scheme off the show, charging customers an entry fee to see the cars and letting outside food vendors work the lot, which explains the drop in the bar's own sales, and pulling a server into it, while another server sells beer from her own private stash. The confrontation has Jimmy firing the manager and that server and suspending the third. Because Mystery Diners was later accused of scripting its confrontations, this car-show sting is best read as broadcast rather than as documented event.
After the cameras left
Rockabillies is still open, none the worse for the episode. The bar and restaurant at 12363 West 64th Avenue shows current daily hours on Yelp in our 2026 pass, listed under a lightly hyphenated spelling of the same name at the same address. It is a going neighborhood spot that appeared on a crisis show and kept its doors open, its survival the ordinary kind rather than a rescue. The car-show drama made an episode; the bar itself was never really in doubt.
