Emerald Hills Country Club

Hollywood, Florida

OPEN

Good outcome here: the business is still trading today. It trades today as The Club at Emerald Hills.

What happened after

Golf/country club still operating, now branded 'The Club at Emerald Hills'.

What happened on the show

Jeff Wilson, general manager of a Hollywood, Florida country club, was losing food and beer and fielding complaints about non-members golfing free. Charles Stiles' investigator Patrick found charges on the accounts of deceased members, and mystery diners Brianna and Jamie went in as a cart girl and a golfer. As aired, a bagboy was sneaking friends in, a beverage-cart girl ran a legacy scam selling her own beer to non-members for cash, and a waitress had hacked the dead members' accounts for free meals, a federal offense, while a friend's drunk group drove a cart into a pond. The confrontation has Jeff firing all three. Given the scripting claims that later dogged Mystery Diners, this country-club sting is best framed as broadcast rather than as verified.

After the cameras left

The club is still open, now branded The Club at Emerald Hills. The golf and country club at 4100 North Hills Drive in Hollywood remains active, with recent footage confirming operation in our 2026 pass, at medium confidence, the new billing reading as branding drift rather than a formal rename. An established club that appeared on a crisis show simply kept running, its survival the ordinary kind rather than a rescue. The account-hacking drama made an episode; the club itself was never in real doubt.
