What happened on the show
A New York sports bar's rowdy customers turned on Taffer's own crew when they realized they were being served cheap booze at premium prices, a confrontation that boiled over into a fight. Undisputed Sports Bar and Grill in Yonkers needed a lesson in serving quality drinks and controlling a crowd, but first Taffer had to contend with an owner whose constant drinking and total refusal to take responsibility had driven his staff to the breaking point. The original broadcast showed Taffer telling patrons outright that the owners had ripped them off by pouring cheap liquor from premium bottles, and one owner's fight with a customer, a scene later edited out of the replay version. The rescue reopened the room under a new name, SOYO, betting that honest pours and real crowd control could reset a bar its owner's drinking had nearly broken.
