What happened after
Closure claim ('has closed', renamed Tres Cuartos first) originates solely from a banned competitor tracker (a competitor tracker). Independent business directories (tvfoodmaps.com, restaurantguru.com) still list a 'Tres Cuartos' entry at the address with contact info, which does not itself confirm open vs. closed.
What happened on the show
A passionate Puerto Rican bar owner's ego was the whole problem in Jersey City. His constant berating, his boisterous need to be the center of attention, and his habit of prioritizing his own DJ sets over the business had turned not only his staff against him but his own sons along with them. At Laguna Lounge, Taffer's task was to deflate that ego enough for the family to function and the bar to run, a rescue built around one outsized personality. He reopened the room as Tres Cuartos, a rebrand meant to give the family business a fresh identity once its founder was pushed to step back from the DJ booth and start acting like an owner, betting that a humbled patriarch and a reunited family could keep a room his self-absorption had nearly torn apart.

The claim that it closed, after a rename to Tres Cuartos, originates solely from a banned competitor tracker, which the project cannot cite, and while independent directories still list a Tres Cuartos entry at 1007 Summit Avenue with contact details, a listing alone does not confirm whether the room is open or closed. Repeated attempts across the round-robin endpoints hit rate limits before any independent source could be captured. The status is honestly recorded as unverifiable, the Tres Cuartos lead left open.
