What happened on the show

A remote location was just the first of the obstacles at The Wanted Saloon in Dickson, Tennessee. Taffer had to overcome a hard-to-reach site along with the operational problems inside, and the episode featured a memorable stress-test device: he hung an acoustic guitar near the bar and cut a string every time the owner or staff made a mistake, with the test ending and Taffer going home if all the strings were cut. That escalating tally turned the usual trial into a vivid countdown. Taffer reopened the venue as The Dickson, a rebrand meant to give the remote saloon a cleaner local identity, betting that a sharper concept and a disciplined crew could overcome a location that would never draw a crowd by chance.

After the cameras left

The Wanted Saloon, rebranded The Dickson, has since closed. A different, unrelated business, Sir Pizza of Dickson, now occupies the same address, 2840 Highway 70 East, with its own listing confirming the exact location, which holds the closure at medium confidence with a date around late 2022. The remote saloon did not survive: whatever the guitar-string stress test exposed and the rebrand fixed, the room Taffer reopened as The Dickson eventually gave way to a pizza restaurant, another season-six closure with a clear successor.
