The Gallopin' Goose

Coolidge, Arizona

OPEN

It is still up and running.

What happened after

Same name retained since the S4E58 rescue. Reopened April 2024 after a brief closure (some 2023 listings showed it as temporarily closed); official site currently live at 1980 S Arizona Blvd.

What happened on the show

An owner's illicit affair had produced a child and destroyed both his marriage and his bar's reputation. At The Gallopin' Goose in Coolidge, Taffer had to help him confront his past demons and start clean, and the owner's wife sat beside him to watch the recon, a raw setup for a rescue built as much on personal reckoning as business repair. The scandal had bled into the room's standing in a small town, and no operational fix would hold while the fallout festered. Taffer kept the Gallopin' Goose name through the makeover, a signal that the bar itself was worth saving once its owner faced what he had done, betting that helping a man own his mistakes could give both his family and his business a genuine second chance.

After the cameras left

The Gallopin' Goose is still open, name intact. It kept its original identity through the rescue and, after a brief closure that left some 2023 listings showing it temporarily shut, reopened in April 2024, with its official site currently live at 1980 South Arizona Boulevard, which puts the open call at high confidence. The owner's bar weathered both the personal scandal and a later pause in operations to keep its doors open, landing this one among the survivors after a rougher road than most.
