What happened on the show
A businessman had bought a bar attached to a bowling alley without ever having set foot in a bar. At Strikers in Meridian, Idaho, the owner's total inexperience was the central obstacle, a man responsible for a room whose world he did not know, attached to a bowling alley that had operated since the 1950s. Taffer's rescue worked to teach the novice owner the fundamentals and give the bar a concept that fit its bowling-alley setting. He reopened the venue as Bullseye Sports Bar and Kitchen, betting that real instruction and a sharper identity could turn an inexperienced buyer into a capable operator and keep a decades-old bowling alley's bar viable, with the usual test of whether the owner could sustain the changes after the cameras left.
After the cameras left
Bullseye Sports Bar and Kitchen stuck and is still operating. The bar, attached to the Meridian Lanes bowling alley that has run since the 1950s, continues at 324 South Meridian Road under owner Andy Propst, who purchased the bowling alley in 2017, which puts the status at high confidence as a renamed survivor. The inexperienced owner's bar survived its rescue and carried the Bullseye identity forward, landing this one among the survivors of the eighth season, an Idaho room that found its footing alongside a historic bowling alley.
