What happened on the show
Celebrity guests Maria Menounos and Adam Carolla joined Taffer for a rescue in Norwalk, where a failing sports bar sat under an incompetent owner whose father owned the whole building. Scoreboard came with an undertrained staff and a boss out of his depth, and Menounos, with AfterBuzzTV co-creator Kevin Undergaro, went undercover for the recon to see the operation as a customer would. The rescue worked to hand the owner both the competence and the accountability he lacked, no small task when the landlord problem was literally his own father. Taffer reworked the concept and, per the record, steered the room toward a rebrand as Agave Junction Cantina, trading a generic and mismanaged sports bar for a themed identity with a clearer market, betting that a sharper concept and a better-trained crew could give the family building a tenant that actually paid its way.
After the cameras left
Scoreboard, or its Agave Junction rebrand, has closed. A MapQuest listing at the original address, 11957 Firestone Boulevard, carries a closed tag, putting the closure at medium confidence on a single directory source. Non-citable trackers place the rename to Agave Junction Cantina before a closure around September 2018, but that rename detail could not be independently confirmed and is noted only for context. The incompetent owner and his landlord father did not, in the end, keep a tenant in the room.
