What happened on the show
New bar owners were accusing their manager, the bar's former owner, of sabotaging the business to steal it back, a genuine whodunit with no clear proof either way. At Schafer's Bar and Grill in Sumner, Taffer used a stress test to sort out who was really at fault, turning the usual operational trial into a means of settling a dispute over trust and motive. The rescue hinged on resolving that suspicion before any lasting fix could take hold. Taffer reopened the venue as R. Lee's, a rebrand meant to give the new owners a clean identity free of the former owner's shadow, betting that clarity about the sabotage claim and a fresh name could let the new ownership run the room without looking over their shoulders.
After the cameras left
Schafer's, rebranded R. Lee's, could not be verified as currently operating. The episode is notably absent from Paramount+ and other streaming services, and no independently citable evidence of the room's current status was obtained: the only closure claim found traced solely to a banned tracker, which the project cannot cite. With nothing verifiable in hand either way, the status is honestly recorded as unverifiable, the R. Lee's identity confirmed only as the rescue rename, its present-day fate left open for a cleaner pass.
