Revisited in Back to the Bar: Hot-Headed Owners (S4E19, aired 2015-04-05) as Pat's Cocktails

What happened after

Kept its name through the 2015 revisit (S4E19) but has since rebranded as Pat's Off Laurel at the same address; January 2026 Yelp review confirms ongoing operation.

What happened on the show

A manager treating the bar like a romantic playground was the loose thread Taffer pulled at Pat's Cocktails in Valley Village. He recruited the bar's own bartenders for inside intelligence on the room's problems, then worked to get the manager to stop chasing romance on the clock while pushing the owner to go far more hands-on with a business he had been running at arm's length. It was a rescue built on accountability, closing the gap between an absentee owner and a manager who had filled the vacuum with his own priorities. The bar kept the Pat's name through the makeover, and it held that identity through the show's 2015 revisit as well, the rescue betting that a re-engaged owner and a refocused manager could steady a room that had drifted on inattention rather than any single dramatic failure.

After the cameras left

Pat's Cocktails is still operating, now under an evolved name. It held its original identity through the 2015 revisit before rebranding as Pat's Off Laurel at the same address, 12121 Riverside Drive, and a January 2026 Yelp review confirms ongoing operation, putting this one at high confidence. The room the flirtatious manager nearly undermined has kept its footing and its Pat's lineage across more than a decade, a quieter survival than most on this show but a real one.
