Newly single after her husband left, Tara had hired a general manager to help save her failing bar, only to lean on him to fill a personal void as well, a blurring of roles that risked doing the business more harm than good. At New England's Ale House Grille in Palm Harbor, Florida, Taffer arrived alone and watched the recon with Tara herself, bringing in three Tampa Bay Buccaneers players as recon spies. The rescue worked to separate Tara's personal needs from her professional decisions and steady a business complicated by both. Taffer reopened the venue as Das Brauhaus and Cafe, a German-themed rebrand meant to give the room a clear new identity, betting that a focused concept and a clearer manager relationship could save a grieving single mother's bar.

Das Brauhaus itself closed on May 12, 2019, and a different, unrelated business, Wings Etc., is reported to occupy the 3419 US Highway 19 address now. A Yelp mirror corroborates the closure, holding it at medium confidence, with the successor claim not independently double-checked. Tara's bar did not survive: whatever the German rebrand and the fresh start accomplished, the room closed, another Florida rescue that could not hold past its makeover.
