Myerz PourHouse

El Cajon, California

OPEN

Open. The rescue stuck and it continues to operate. It trades today as The Study Lounge.

What happened after

Rebranded 'The Study Lounge' at 1678 Greenfield Dr, El Cajon CA 92021. Two independent, search-discovered directory citations: Yelp (yelp.com/biz/the-study-lounge-el-cajon, 3.6/5, 59 reviews, description reads as a live operating review) and RestaurantJi (4.1/5, 163 reviews).

What happened on the show

A haunted bar with a cursed past forced Taffer to stir up a very different kind of spirit than usual. At Myerz PourHouse in El Cajon, the supernatural angle was played for real: for the recon he brought in podcasters Matt Mira and Jordan Morris, and he even brought in a medium to help the staff deal with the room's haunted reputation. Beyond the ghost story, the rescue worked to give a struggling bar a functional operation and a marketable identity. Taffer reopened the venue as The Study, a rebrand meant to trade the cursed baggage for a fresh, inviting concept, betting that a clean identity and a real business plan could exorcise whatever had been keeping customers away, whether the trouble was supernatural or simply operational.

After the cameras left

The Study Lounge, as it now trades, is still operating at 1678 Greenfield Drive in El Cajon. Two independent, search-discovered directory listings corroborate an active business: a Yelp page with 59 reviews and a live-review-style description praising the bartenders and clientele, and a RestaurantJi listing with 163 reviews. That convergence puts the open call at medium confidence, held short of high only because neither page was directly fetched. The haunted bar Taffer rebranded shed its cursed reputation and kept its doors open under the new name.
