Revisited in Back to the Bar: Tough Love (S6E17, aired 2018-07-08) as Badlands Country Nightclub
What happened after
Renamed Badlands Country Nightclub per Bar Rescue revisit S6E17 (2018, per spine notes). Non-citable tracker synthesis suggests Badlands later closed and operators relocated to Vertigo Bar and Grill in Blue Springs, MO, but no independently citable URL was captured before repeated search-engine outages blocked further verification.
What happened on the show
Long-held infighting was the real enemy at a Grain Valley, Missouri, sports bar. Taffer had to get an owner and staff riven by internal conflict, hobbled by poor training and starved of any real publicity, to finally pull together and compete against the local market. Long Shots Sports Bar had the bones of a business but none of the cohesion, its people too busy feuding to promote the place or serve it well. The rescue worked on the training and the marketing at once, trying to give a directionless room both competence and a reason for anyone outside to notice it. Per the show's later revisit, the venue was reworked and eventually operated as Badlands Country Nightclub, a country-music concept aimed at pulling a crowd the old sports bar had never managed to draw in a competitive corner of the Kansas City suburbs.
After the cameras left
The current status of the Grain Valley venue could not be verified. Per the show's spine, it was renamed Badlands Country Nightclub by a 2018 revisit, and non-citable tracker sources suggest Badlands later closed with its operators relocating to a Vertigo Bar and Grill in Blue Springs, but none of that could be confirmed through an independent, citable source before repeated search outages blocked further work. Its Facebook page is JS-rendered and unreadable by fetch tooling. With no verifiable evidence either way, the status is honestly recorded as unverifiable, the Badlands and Vertigo leads left open for a cleaner pass.
