What happened on the show

A bar owner's adult grandchildren had drifted so far from real oversight that the family business was nearly gone. At Kerry's Sports Pub on North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas, lax handling of inventory and money had brought the room to the edge of failure, and Taffer had the owner sit beside him to watch the recon, the second episode in the series to do so, so the family could see the damage for themselves. The rescue centered on tightening the controls the grandchildren had let slip and giving the tired sports pub a reason to stand out in a crowded market. Taffer took a swing for distinctiveness, reopening the room as Bacon Bar, a bacon-themed concept built to turn a generic pub into a novelty destination. The bet was that a memorable hook, paired with real accountability over the money and the stock, could pull Kerry's back from the collapse its own family oversight had nearly caused.

After the cameras left

Bacon Bar had a long run for a Bar Rescue makeover, but it did eventually close in 2022, roughly a decade after the rescue. Yelp carries the ending in plain language, tagging the location closed with a note steering visitors to a new menu elsewhere, which puts the closure at high confidence. Ten years is a genuine success by this show's standards, but the bacon-themed room the grandchildren inherited finally ran its course.
