Bar Rescue · S5 E24

Jack's Place

Las Vegas, Nevada

CLOSED

It closed and is no longer operating.

The short answer

Renamed "The Regan Lounge" after the S5E24 rescue. Per Wikipedia's Bar Rescue season 5 episode list: "The Regan Lounge closed after a fire broke out and destroyed most of its property."

What happened on the show

Taffer set out to convince the ultimate maternal figure to start making decisions like a business owner rather than a caretaker. At Jack's Place in Las Vegas, the owner ran her struggling dive bar with a mother's soft heart, letting sentiment override the hard calls a failing business needed, and the room was sliding toward closure as a result. The rescue worked to get her to separate her nurturing instincts from the decisions that were sinking the bar. Taffer reopened the venue as The Regan Lounge, a rebrand meant to give the dive a fresh identity and its owner a businesslike reset, betting that a maternal owner taught to run the numbers could pull her room back from the edge of closing its doors.

After the cameras left

The Regan Lounge is closed, and its end came by fire. Per Wikipedia's episode list, the rebranded lounge closed after a fire broke out and destroyed most of its property, which holds the closure at medium confidence on a single footnote. The exact fire and closure date could not be confirmed. The maternal owner's dive bar did not survive: whatever the rescue changed about her decision-making, the room Taffer reopened as The Regan Lounge was ultimately lost to the blaze rather than to the business struggles the episode addressed.
