What happened on the show

High 5 Grille in Tucson came in for Taffer's standard intervention, but the outcome was overtaken by events. The room went through the show's arc of scrutiny, confrontation and renovation, and Taffer reopened it as Cinco Cantina, a rebrand meant to give the struggling bar a fresh identity. The catch, revealed by later reporting, was that the makeover could not outrun the underlying finances. The rescue followed the usual pattern of a hard look at the operation and a renovation, betting that a sharper concept could steady the room, but the bar's money troubles, particularly what it owed its landlord, would prove more decisive than anything the cameras captured during the intervention itself. A Tucson bar already carrying debts it could not shake, it made the rescue a race against finances that would prove harder to fix than any problem the cameras could stage.

After the cameras left

High 5 Grille, rebranded Cinco Cantina, has closed. A local news article dated January 25, 2024, reported the bar had closed right before the episode even aired, having shut on January 3, 2024, a few months after filming, over money owed to the landlord. Tucson Foodie, an independent local food-news site, documented both the November 2023 rebrand and the closure, which puts the ending at high confidence. The Tucson bar did not survive: its debts caught up with it before viewers ever saw the makeover reach air.
