Harbor Point Club & Grill

Richardson, Texas

UNVERIFIED

We could not confirm its current status.

What happened after

Fan-tracker sources describe a chain of unconfirmed renames -- first to JB Taco, then to Rocket's Sports Bar & Grill -- with a further claim that JB Taco itself later closed, but none of this chain could be independently corroborated during this pass. A RestaurantJi directory listing at the address still shows the original 'Harbor Point Club & Grill' name, which is not proof of current status either way (stale listings are common).

What happened on the show

Negligent owners were drinking the profits away while their staff struggled to get a single order right at Harbor Point Club and Grill in Richardson, Texas. Suspecting he was being played, Taffer pulled an unusual test: he feigned calling off the rescue in favor of a different bar to gauge the owners' honesty, and only after seeing how genuinely distraught they were did he conclude their need was real and press on. The rescue worked to fix the owners' negligence and a staff that could not execute the basics. Taffer reopened the venue as JB Taco, a taco-focused rebrand meant to give the failing club a marketable concept, betting that a sharper identity and re-engaged owners could steady a room their drinking and disorganization had run down.

After the cameras left

Harbor Point's current status could not be verified. Fan-tracker sources describe a chain of unconfirmed renames, first to JB Taco and then to Rocket's Sports Bar and Grill, plus a claim that JB Taco later closed, but none of that chain could be independently corroborated, and it traces to sources the project cannot cite. A directory listing at the 2121 Buckingham Road address still shows the original Harbor Point name, which proves nothing about the current status. With no citable evidence in hand, the status is honestly recorded as unverifiable.
