What happened after

Renamed '22 Klicks Bar & Grill' after Bar Rescue, now at 2653 Hope Mills Rd Suite 12 (Elmwood Crossing Shopping Center). Actively operating with posted hours.

What happened on the show

Taffer's task in Hope Mills was to humble an arrogant U.S. Marine who ran his bar the way he might run a squad, bulldogging his employees while completely missing the very military crowd he should have owned. Cliques was failing in part on poor design choices that pushed away the nearby base's personnel, the exact clientele a bar in that town should have been built to serve. The rescue paired a hard reset of the owner's attitude with a concept rebuilt from the ground up to court those service members, because fixing one without the other would have solved nothing. Taffer reopened the room as 22 Klicks, a military-flavored identity aimed squarely at the market the old bar had been alienating. The through-line was authority misapplied, an owner who commanded his staff but could not draw a crowd, and the bet that redirecting that intensity toward the customers, rather than the employees, could turn a hostile room into the base's bar of choice.

After the cameras left

22 Klicks stuck and is still trading. Now 22 Klicks Bar and Grill, it operates at 2653 Hope Mills Road in the Elmwood Crossing Shopping Center with posted hours, a 4.1 Facebook rating across 222 reviews, and a Yelp listing that geocodes to adjacent Fayetteville. The Bar Rescue identity is the one that endured, marking this a renamed survivor at high confidence, the Marine's bar finally aimed at the market it had been missing.
