What happened on the show
The takeover reached a barbershop in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, for this season five episode, part of the show's continued reach beyond salons. The method carried over to the barbershop setting: Coffey embeds in the business, delivers her blunt assessments, restructures the staff, and stages a renovation reveal. Because no synopsis survives for this installment, we do not reconstruct the specific incidents. The documented facts are the format and the setting, a Nexgen barber shop on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro taken through the overnight process. Coffey's premise held, that a grooming business reflects its leadership and its consistency, and that the value of the intervention was an honest reset the owner could not reach alone. The point throughout was that a barbershop earns its regulars through discipline set from the top down.
