What happened on the show
A failing cafe was taking a 25-year marriage down with it in Stone Mountain. At Sweet Potato Cafe, Karen was burning out under most of the responsibility while Darrell took a back seat, and the episode frames the rescue around getting Darrell to pull his weight and rekindling Karen's passion in the kitchen before both the business and the marriage gave out. Leveling out a lopsided partnership was the real work, and every hour of the rescue pushed that.
