What happened on the show
Tim and Jenifer ran Millonzi's, an Italian restaurant in the Colorado mountain town of Fairplay, and by the time Irvine arrived they were buried in debt and on the edge of divorce. Fourteen years into the business, the partnership that built it had curdled, and the rescue turned on getting the couple to work as a team again before they lost both the marriage and the restaurant. He sampled the pasta and pizza, traced where the money went, and let his team rebuild the room, with a reopening night to prove the couple could still run it side by side. The surviving teaser leans on the money and the marriage and gives no plated detail, so the account settles on a fourteen-year-old family restaurant whose real crisis was two exhausted partners no longer pulling together.
