Grief had drained the passion out of Giovanni's Italian Restaurant in Sylacauga. Owner Chrissy was struggling to keep her family's outdated restaurant going after the sudden death of her sister, and Irvine's rescue leaned on helping her rediscover the drive she had lost as much as on modernizing the place. Helping a grieving owner care about the place again was the whole thrust, and the two days worked toward nothing else.
