episode title: "Virtually Impossible"; business name resolved 2026-08-13 via retro1025.com and chefirvine.com (independent local-news and event-listing sources, not the P1 synopsis): Casa Real, 243 E 29th St, Loveland, CO 80538. Irvine's team filmed the makeover Oct 8-11, 2021; restaurant had run 6 years and was losing $300,000 annually before the visit.

What happened after

Now trading as Casa Real Mexican Grill at the same 243 E 29th St address; family owned by Alma and Ritchie Ponce, with active online ordering and Yelp reviews dated into 2026.

What happened on the show

Casa Real had been serving Loveland, Colorado for six years, but it was losing 300,000 dollars a year by the time Robert Irvine's team arrived. Pricing was identified as a central problem, so the two day, 10,000 dollar overhaul touched the menu as much as the room, adding items like wings alongside a redesigned dining and bar area. The restaurant also changed its schedule, closing on Sundays going forward. Irvine's new menu went in on a trial basis, with a sign telling customers it would run for three weeks before the restaurant decided whether to keep it or return to the old menu at higher prices.

After the cameras left

Casa Real kept its name and its address at 243 East 29th Street, now operating as Casa Real Mexican Grill under owners Alma and Ritchie Ponce. Online ordering through DoorDash and Toast is active, and Yelp lists 176 reviews with activity running into 2026, evidence of a restaurant still open and still busy years after the Restaurant: Impossible cameras left.
