What happened after
High-end Italian deli owned by 'Chef Marc,' featured in the S2E7 episode about sales/inventory theft. What happened on the show
Marc Sgrizzi found his high-end Italian deli meats going missing at his Las Vegas restaurant and suspected two employees with full run of the place. Charles Stiles sent mystery diners Shane and Adam in as a busboy and a customer. As aired, one suspect proves a genuine asset while the other, Peter, turns out to be quietly desperate, filmed bartering food for concert tickets, using the restaurant phone because he had pawned his own, and finally pawning Marc's prized prosciutto. The confrontation takes an unusual turn: Peter explains he was evicted and homeless, and Marc, rather than firing him, chooses to help him back on his feet. Stiles closes with the restaurant expanded and its losses stopped. Given the scripting claims that later trailed Mystery Diners, this softer-than-usual resolution is best framed as broadcast rather than as documented fact.

The restaurant seems to have carried on under a new banner rather than closed. Owner Chef Marc's operation appears to continue in Las Vegas as Chef Marc's Parma Pastavino, an owner-name and cuisine match strong enough to read as a rebrand, though we could not independently confirm the current listing on direct fetch, so we hold this at low confidence.
