What happened on the show

Ramsay could not get past the fact that Mangia Mangia, the only Italian restaurant in Woodland Park, Colorado, had a drive-thru, a leftover from the fast-food joint it used to be. He tested it by ordering a chicken and wild rice soup, which came after a long wait, overly thick, half-filled, and with no spoon. Owner Julie Watson, a former realtor with everything she owned riding on the place, had a temper and freely berated her staff while pinning the blame on her young chef Trevor. Ramsay was stunned to learn Julie had hired Trevor at eighteen with no experience and made him head chef, a role he had held for four years at just twenty-two, and more disturbed to hear that Trevor had once shoved his ex-girlfriend Janelle, a waitress there, into the walk-in during a fight. The food matched the dysfunction, with mushroom ravioli that looked, Ramsay said, like defrosted snow.
