What happened on the show

Amy's Baking Company is the only restaurant Gordon Ramsay ever quit on. Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, a husband and wife who had sunk over a million dollars into Amy's dream in Scottsdale, greeted him certain he would validate them against the online haters they had feuded with for two years. At first their plan almost worked: Ramsay admired the spotless dining room and clean kitchen, and genuinely praised a slice of Amy's cake. Then the cracks showed.
