What happened after

Seafood/American restaurant (Marc and Lisa, opened 2004) is listed by the Patriot Ledger (South Shore MA regional paper) among Massachusetts Kitchen Nightmares restaurants 'that have since closed.'

What happened on the show

Barefoot Bob's opened in summer and looked fine until the season turned, because Hull is a Massachusetts beach town that empties out in winter, and Marc and Lisa Cara Donna had not planned for the drop. To save money Marc had let the chef go and taken over the kitchen himself, trusting his wife Lisa with the front, where the staff quickly noticed she did far less work than he did, and the marriage was fraying under it. The food was a mess: a soggy unseasoned seafood platter, a floury clam chowder with no actual clams, and a lobster roll so overstuffed with pricey seafood it lost money on every order. A psychic Marc had oddly hired turned up a divorce card. In the fridge Ramsay found cooked wings stored next to raw pork and temperatures too warm, and neither owner could name their food costs or break-even point, which fell hardest on Lisa, who claimed to keep the books.

After the cameras left

Barefoot Bob's has since closed. A regional South Shore paper counts it among the Massachusetts Kitchen Nightmares restaurants that are gone, though a reliable closing date proved elusive within reach, so none is asserted here rather than lean on a banned tracker's specific claim. A seafood spot in a summer town, run by a couple who could not agree on the books or the marriage, was exposed the moment the beach crowd left, and it did not find a way through the off-season for good.
