Restored 1897 saloon/bordello building operating as B&B; official site and multiple OTAs show current 2026 pricing.
What happened on the show
The second stop on Melchiorri's Route 66 RV run was one of the show's more colorful buildings: the Red Garter, a restored 1897 saloon and former bordello in Williams, Arizona, now operating as a bed and breakfast near the Grand Canyon Railway. A property with that much history and character had a genuine draw, but it still had to convert Old West charm into a smoothly run small inn. Anthony paced the halls and priced the experience at the Railroad Avenue building, treating the 1897 heritage as a marketable asset while and pushed management to keep the operation tight. Because the episode covered three Route 66 properties at once, his intervention was quick and pointed, sharpening the fundamentals so a small historic inn could make the most of its story and its location on one of America's most traveled nostalgic corridors.
After the cameras left
The Red Garter is still trading on its saloon-era charm. As of our 2026 verification the restored 1897 building at 137 West Railroad Avenue is open as a bed and breakfast, with an official site and multiple booking platforms showing current pricing, and it ranks among the top handful of inns in Williams. The Old West history the show told it to sell is still the property's calling card near the Grand Canyon Railway. Confirmed operating as of 2026.
