What happened on the show
On Fort Lauderdale's beach, the Ocean Manor gave Melchiorri another oceanfront property that should have printed money and instead needed a rescue. It was a resort with direct beach access and a loyal enough following to be worth saving, undercut by an operation that was not making the most of the location. Anthony's job, as ever, was to find the daylight between what the resort had and what it delivered, and to convince the owners that beachfront alone does not fill rooms at a healthy rate. He worked through the guest experience, the presentation, and the pricing, treating the Atlantic frontage as a headline the operation had to earn every day rather than a guarantee. The reveal aimed to hand back a resort that looked and ran like the beach destination its address implied, giving guests a clear, confident reason to choose it.
After the cameras left
The Ocean Manor came out ahead and kept climbing. As of our 2026 check the oceanfront resort is open, now marketed as Ocean Manor Beach Resort, taking bookings through its own live site and carrying a 2025 Travelers' Choice award along with a strong review average across several thousand entries. For a Season 1 property that arrived on the show as an underperforming asset, a recent hospitality award is about as emphatic a vindication as the format produces. Confirmed operating as of 2026.
