What happened after
Historic downtown lodge; official site live with current booking.
What happened on the show
In downtown Billings, the Dude Rancher Lodge offered Melchiorri something a little different from the season's beachfronts: a historic Montana lodge with Western character and an urban location, carrying the weight of its own age. The property leaned on its vintage identity, and the show's question was whether that heritage was an asset being sold well or a excuse for standards that had drifted. Anthony worked through the rooms and the guest experience at 415 North 29th Street, separating the genuine period charm worth preserving from the tired edges that were costing the lodge business. His guidance pushed ownership to modernize where guests actually feel it while protecting the character that set the place apart, the balance every historic property on the show had to strike. The aim was a lodge that used its history as a draw rather than a liability.
After the cameras left
The Dude Rancher Lodge is still riding. As of our 2026 verification the historic downtown Billings lodge is open with a live official booking site, and its traveler-review profile runs to several hundred entries with guest activity carrying into recent years. The Western-heritage identity Melchiorri told them to sell properly is still the property's calling card, and the doors are still open on 29th Street. Confirmed operating as of 2026.
