What happened on the show

In Bossier City, Louisiana, across the river from Shreveport's casinos, Melchiorri confronted an abusive owner at the Bossier Inn and Suites, a property where the rooms stank, the pool was filthy and the housekeepers were underpaid. The episode, Boss's Time Out, framed a operation poisoned from the top, where the owner's treatment of staff and neglect of the property fed a downward spiral. A budget hotel in a casino market competes on cleanliness and value, so foul rooms and mistreated workers strike directly at the business. Anthony's task was to check an abusive owner and reset the basics, pushing him to clean up the rooms and pool, pay and treat the staff decently, and run the property like a business rather than a fiefdom. The fix started with the owner's behavior, because a demoralized, underpaid staff cannot deliver the clean, welcoming stay a budget hotel lives on.

After the cameras left

The Bossier Inn and Suites appears to still be operating, at the bottom of its market. As of our 2026 pass the property is actively listed across multiple booking platforms but carries dismal ratings, roughly one star and ranked last among the city's three dozen hotels, with no closure signal found. We could not locate an official site and targeted searches for closure or sale news turned up nothing, so we log the status as confirmed operating with low confidence on weak aggregator evidence and flag it as a recheck candidate. Last confirmed present in listings during our 2026 check.
