What happened on the show
The core of the Vienna Inn visit was a couple who could not keep their marriage out of their business. In Southbridge, Massachusetts, owners Jonathon and Lisa Krach fought and cried in front of guests, ran a property former visitors described as cluttered and overwhelming, and put staff in uniforms that struck people as too revealing for the setting. The food drew consistent complaints. Ramsay tried to get the two to rediscover their passion and to separate their personal lives from the work. He delivered a new menu and new decor, but the relaunch went badly, because the owners could not cope with the changes being asked of them. This was less a kitchen problem than a marriage running the front of house, and the fix depended on two people who were not ready to accept it.
After the cameras left
Whatever Ramsay installed did not take. After he left, the Krachs reverted to their old menu, decor, and habits. From there the Vienna Inn's trail gets murky. One account holds that the Southbridge property closed following a fire in November 2017; against that, its official site is still live, if visibly dated, and a stray undated reviewer aside speaks of a recent good visit.
