Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Still open. It kept its doors open after the show.

What happened after

Tiki bar/restaurant at 4040 Galt Ocean Dr (Ocean Manor Beach Resort); actively operating with current hours and multiple 2026-dated Yelp reviews.

What happened on the show

Frank owned one of the few bars grandfathered onto the Fort Lauderdale sand itself, and he was squandering the privilege daily. The Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar, at the Ocean Manor Beach Resort on Galt Ocean Drive, had slid into serious disrepair, its food and service well below any reasonable standard, while Frank had gone soft on the people he employed. He played favorites, overlooked poor performance and punctuality, and let bartenders roll in four hours late or simply not show at all, a permissiveness that had hollowed out the whole operation. Taffer's rescue pressed Frank to fire the dead weight he had been protecting, built a tropical food menu to finally match the beachfront setting, and remodeled years of neglect out of the room. He reopened it as Bamboo Beach Club and Tiki Bar, the bet being that an irreplaceable spot directly on the ocean, paired with a concept and a staff actually held to standards, could turn a wasted location into the draw it always should have been.

After the cameras left

The oceanfront location that Frank nearly wasted is now its biggest asset. The tiki bar and restaurant is actively operating at 4040 Galt Ocean Drive, with current hours and multiple 2026-dated Yelp reviews confirming a steady business. An irreplaceable spot directly on the beach, paired with a concept finally suited to it, put this one solidly among the show's long-term survivors.
