What happened on the show
An unruly husband was pushing his wife's Arvada bar to the brink of closing. At Rockabillies in Colorado, the owner was on the verge of losing her business, with her husband's disruptive behavior a central obstacle, and the room carried a bit of reality-TV history, having previously appeared on Food Network's Mystery Diners in 2014. Taffer's rescue worked to rein in the husband and give the owner the footing to save her bar. He reopened the venue as Bar Retro, a rebrand meant to sharpen the concept, betting that curbing the unruly husband and installing a clearer identity could pull a room back from the edge of closing, with the usual test of whether the changes would hold once the cameras left Arvada.

Rockabillies is still operating. It maintains an active official site and a large, engaged Facebook following at 12363 West 64th Avenue in Arvada, which puts the open call at high confidence. The owner's bar survived both her unruly husband and the brink of closure, landing this one among the survivors of the eighth season, a Colorado room that steadied itself and kept its doors open, apparently retaining its identity in the years after Taffer's visit despite the Bar Retro rebrand proposed on air.
