Crossroads Grille

Antioch, Tennessee

CLOSED

It closed and is no longer operating in 2018. The site is now home to (unconfirmed) taco bar.

What happened after

Renamed Gaddy Shack after its Bar Rescue makeover; closed March 2018, reportedly because owners Robert and Ashley Gaddy shifted focus to another bar they own (DONKS in Nashville). An Instagram post states: "Closed: March 2018...It is now a taco bar."

Closure date on record: 2018-03

What happened on the show

A twerking, drinking, brawling staff was threatening the once-thriving bar of Ashley and Robert Gaddy, leaving its future in doubt. At Crossroads Grille in Antioch, Tennessee, the owners had let their crew's out-of-control behavior overrun a room that had been doing well, and Taffer had to straighten out both the staff and the management before the dysfunction sank a good business. The rescue worked to restore discipline and reset the standards the Gaddys had allowed to slide. Taffer reopened the venue as Gaddy Shack, a playful rebrand built around the owners' own name, betting that a reset crew and a sharper identity could return a once-successful room to the footing it had before the partying took over. The Antioch bar had genuine goodwill to protect, which raised the stakes of getting a wayward staff back in line before the room's regulars gave up on it.

After the cameras left

Crossroads Grille, rebranded Gaddy Shack, closed in March 2018. The closure was not a failure of the rescue so much as a choice: owners Robert and Ashley Gaddy reportedly shifted their focus to another bar they run in Nashville, and an Instagram post states the room closed in March 2018 and is now a taco bar. That single independent post holds the closure at medium confidence, with the taco-bar successor unconfirmed by a second source. The Gaddys' bar wound down as they moved on, rather than collapsing under the dysfunction Taffer had addressed.
