Alex Polizzi went to Looe in series 11 to transform the Fieldhead, a sixteen-bedroom hotel where the staff were struggling with a complex booking system. That operational snag, a booking setup too complicated for the people meant to use it, points to the practical, systems-level problems Polizzi often uncovered beneath a hotel's surface troubles. A seaside hotel of this size cannot afford friction in the very process that fills its rooms, and her task was to simplify the machinery so the staff could actually run the place efficiently. The Cornish coastal setting, with views toward Looe Island, gave her something to sell if the day-to-day operation could be smoothed out. The unworkable booking system aired in April 2015, and the show returned in 2016 to a property that had clearly sorted its operation out.

The Fieldhead is still trading and in good shape. The nineteen en-suite room hotel on Hannafore Lane in Looe, recently renovated with views toward Looe Island, keeps a live official site with a functional booking widget as of 2026. The show returned for a 2016 revisit. The property whose staff once wrestled with an unworkable booking system appears to have sorted itself out and kept going as a confident small Cornish hotel, one of the series 11 cases that clearly held its footing in the years after Polizzi's visit.
