What happened on the show
Cake Crazy was Tyann's dream, and by the time Kerry Vincent reached Stillwater, Oklahoma, that dream was close to ending. The shop had opened without the scaffolding a business needs to last: no real plan, no marketing strategy, nothing steering the passion toward paying customers. Left on that track it was headed for a permanent close. Vincent's role on this Food Network season was to supply exactly what was missing, and at Cake Crazy that meant building Tyann a concrete game plan rather than fixing a single recipe.
