What happened on the show
In Williston, North Dakota, at the center of the Bakken oil boom, the Missouri Flats Inn was a property riding one of the most volatile lodging markets in the country, where oil-field demand could fill or empty a hotel overnight. The episode, Getting Screwed, captured a sense of an operation being taken advantage of or coming up short.
