Revisited in Back to the Bar: Hallelujah for Jon (S5E21, aired 2017-04-09) as Crafted

What happened after

Renamed "Crafted" (from Van Goghz Martini Bar and Bistro) after the S4E44 rescue; still operating today at 3200 Shenandoah Avenue, St. Louis.

What happened on the show

An inexperienced martini bar owner whose apathetic, combative attitude had dragged her room into substandard conditions was locked in repeated face-offs with her own staff, among them a fed-up kitchen chef. At Van Goghz in St. Louis, Taffer had to get a defensive owner to drop her guard and address the standards she had let slip, since her combativeness was as much the problem as any operational failure. The episode marked the final appearance of chef expert Pink. Taffer reopened the venue as Crafted, a rebrand meant to give the martini bar a sharper, more contemporary identity and its owner a clean slate, betting that an owner willing to stop fighting her staff and start leading them could turn a room defined by conflict into a going concern.

After the cameras left

Crafted stuck and is still operating today at 3200 Shenandoah Avenue in St. Louis. The rescue rebrand from Van Goghz Martini Bar and Bistro held, carrying through the show's 2017 revisit and onward, which puts the open call at high confidence. The apathetic owner's martini bar survived her combative streak and kept the Crafted identity across the years, landing this one firmly in the renamed-and-surviving column, one of the cleaner St. Louis outcomes in the catalog.
