barBar Rescue · Season 7, Episode 3 · Aired March 15, 2020
Linda Lou's Time For Two
Layton, Utah
Current status unconfirmed after an independent check. The last confirmed sighting we found dates to 2020.
What happened after
Fan-tracker sources claim a rename to Purser's Bar at the same address; a directory listing for that address showed all-days-closed hours, which is ambiguous (could reflect a genuinely closed business or simply an unpopulated hours field on the listing) and could not be resolved to a confident status during this pass.
What happened on the show
Linda Lou's Time For Two was a Layton, Utah, bar that came in for Taffer's standard rescue treatment. The room went through the show's usual arc, a recon reading the operation as customers see it, a confrontation over the problems dragging it down, a stress test of the staff, and a renovation meant to give the bar a fresh footing. Taffer reopened the venue as Purser's Bar, a rebrand meant to hand the room a cleaner identity, betting that a sharper concept and a tightened operation could steady a small-town Utah bar that had been struggling before the cameras arrived to force the kind of reset the show specializes in. The small-town Utah setting gave the room a built-in local base, and the rescue's job was to give that base a reason to keep coming back.
After the cameras left
Linda Lou's, rebranded Purser's Bar, could not be verified as currently operating. Fan-tracker sources claim the rename to Purser's Bar at the same address, 2981 North Hill Field Road in Layton, and a directory listing for that address showed all-days-closed hours, an ambiguous signal that could reflect either a genuine closure or simply an unpopulated hours field. Search endpoints hit CAPTCHA walls on follow-up. With nothing citable to resolve the ambiguity, the status is honestly recorded as unverifiable, the Purser's Bar lead flagged for a direct check.
