What happened on the show

This bar and grill's unappetizing name was only the first of its problems. At Fatballs in Jacksonville, Taffer's bigger challenge was getting the belligerent owner to accept any responsibility at all, a defensive operator whose attitude blocked every fix. The off-putting name and the combative ownership together defined a room that needed both a rebrand and an attitude adjustment. The rescue worked to break through the owner's belligerence and give the bar a name customers could actually stomach. Taffer reopened the venue as The Bayou, a New Orleans-themed identity meant to trade the unappetizing Fatballs branding for something inviting, betting that a palatable name and an owner finally taking ownership could turn a room its own branding and its own boss had been sabotaging.
